How do you make a girl feel good about herself on her period?!

Question: How do you make a girl feel good about herself on her period?
Hi I'm asking because I have a friend that I've noticed on her menstrual cycles she becomes really depressed and quiet like shes embarrassed or something? She is my best friend so if they're are any ways to make her feel better I would like to know thank you :)

Answers:

First off, I think it's very sweet that you care enough to want to make her feel better.

Secondly, imagine having the stomach flu (some girls get nauseated and throw up) with diarrhea cramps for 7 days. Along with headaches, a stiff lower back, being tired but can't sleep do to the cramps and feeling like you're peeing yourself (if you wore pads) every few minutes, worrying about possible smells or leaks. All that while you live out your day to day job with people yelling at you and you yelling at people for little things because of all the above making you miserable.

How would you want to be treated? A back rub, watching a cheesy movie that the other person may not like? Little things can mean the world to a girl on her period. Bringing her comfort foods--ice cream, chocolate, French fries-- may make her day.

Just be careful not to cross the line. She may think you like her.

send all this information to her...
1-Cuddle up with a hot water bottle
2-Soak in a warm bath to soothe the cramps
3-Do plenty of exercise to keep yourself active and take your mind off things
4Try gentle swimming, walking or stretching
4-Painkillers such as ibuprofen and aspirin can help as they have anti-prostaglandin effects, but may not be suitable for everyone e.g. if you have asthma
5- There is also a range of specialised painkillers available to help reduce the symptoms
6-Eat boiled egg and drink hot coffee
