LADY PROBLEM WITH TAMPONS !?!

Question: LADY PROBLEM WITH TAMPONS !?
Yesterday, I went to the toilet and I tried to use a tampon. My friend who is using it told me it's fine so I tried but it wouldn't go in. I then tried again today but it wouldn't go in and went only a tiny bit in so I took it out and immediately I felt dizzy and my ears got really hot. I then don't remember anything and woke up on the toilet floor (I think I fainted). I checked the symptoms on the leaflet and it said that dizziness and fainting are symptoms of TSS so I'm worried if I have it or not... But I didn't put the tampon in much at all, it was only a bit in, is it possible at all ?!

Answers:

You can't get TSS that fast. You probably were dehydrated and/or were not getting enough blood flow to your head due to nerves and being on your period.

Maybe you were just really nervous about using the tampon for the first time so this caused your dizziness. TSS will only occur if you wear the tampon for over 8 hours or just don't bother changing it when it needs to be changed.

Hi

When i first used a tampon i had trouble getting in, but i also went dizzy and i nearly passsed out i realised i was anxious and holding my breath.

You were probably just nervous.
