If girls look at guys with a blank expression - does that mean they're not !

Question: If girls look at guys with a blank expression - does that mean they're not interested?
I'm a male teen & would like to know if a girl is interested me through her looks or glances. In general if i'm in a library or club some girls would just look at me without smiling, so just a blank expression. What are tips on learning if or when a girl may be interested through eye contact alone. Is it bad when they look at me but don't smile & what could i do to flirt & speak to them?

Answers:

Nod and smile back, whether she's smiling or not. If she looks away just as blankly, probably not interested, but maybe she's just coy. If she smiles back, she's interested, or just being nice because she accidentally locked eyes with a stranger. If she looks away quickly, she's either shy, or not interested. If she keeps staring, she's probably lost in thought and your head is just in her line of sight, or possibly she's blind. So really no matter what, there's no way to know if she wants to talk to you without just opening your mouth and seeing what happens.

Don't make anything of this...if could mean anything and if you try and guess it will be wrong... guaranteed. As to whether they are interested, all you can do is try and get some life experience. And I know grown men in their 60s who still don't know...that's the way of the world...and women. We don't understand guys either.

it could really mean anything if the girl isnt smiling. its better to tell if a girl is into you by her body language. if she's interested, she'll probably lean towards you a bit, and fidget with her hair makeup or clothes

The blank expression might be caused by her thinking about something else and has nothing to do with your impression she is looking at you. Normal women do not indulges in gloating over guys despite what you might think.
