Can you give me perspective for the future?!

Question: Can you give me perspective for the future?
I am 21 years old and have been out of college for two years. I got sick and was unable to continue. I log on facebook now and see all of my friends looking beautiful and having fun at parties/clubs and getting involved in interesting things at school and I wonder if there will be any fun left in my future. I'm continuing my degree online through Northeastern and I'm happy with my decision because I know I will get better one day, but what do people between the ages of 22 and 25 do for fun when college is over? Will I be happy? Any thoughts?

Answers:

When you are ready, you could go back to regular college, or not. What I found interesting about your post was that you equate partying with happiness and that makes me worried. And here's the answer to your question --- There are so many ways in this world to find happiness/fun. You can find it in your religion, by helping others, by knowing that you've made the best decision for you life right now and when you are ready to make another decision, you will make the best decision you can possibly make then.

Are you depressed? That makes finding joy and happiness and fun really impossible. If you are depressed, you need to talk to someone and get help, because you can be happy.

As to finding fun when college is over, you'll find it doing things that make you happy and fulfilled --- your family, your friends, your job, or whatever life happens to make available for you.

Being alive and working on finding and enjoying my own happiness... :)
