I'm gaining weight even though I exercise and eat right. Please help?!

Question: I'm gaining weight even though I exercise and eat right. Please help?
I exercise on the treadmill 3 days a week for 40 mins.
I eat right. I normally consume 1300-1500 calories a day.

Yesterday, for example I had a boiled egg with 2 sausages, toast, milk, honey and almonds. For dinner I had KFC grilled chicken, sting beans, 1 biscuit and potatoes. I had an apple too.

I'm sure it's not my period either.
It should come on in about 4 days.

I do crunches and leg exercises, aswell.

I'm 18

Since I've started exercising, my weight was risen to 140 from 133 and I'm 5'4.
I'm sure it's not muscle because my stomach looks fatter.

Please help.

Answers:

1, dont eat fast food, period. 2, make sure u can rule out the possibility of pregnancy, and 3, it could be water weight. Exercising causes you to drink more w/ out knowing it sometimes. Also, I had the problem after I worked out, my stomach muscles would get tired and fall lazy, causing a little pooch. But eventually the harder the muscle got, it went away. Try crunches. It could still be muscle weight. If you're still confused start doing some body fat testing to keep track.

it could be your period though just because theres 4 more days you could be bloating earlier than before. and did you sleep after you eat? if you ate dinner around 10 you probably didnt exercise or do any type of physical activities to get the food digested well. but also try not eating sausage all the time if you are because thats high in fat ive heard.and for the treadmill if you want to loose weight your suppose to exercise for a hour a day.
