I walked in on my little sister putting in a tampon........?!

Question: I walked in on my little sister putting in a tampon........?
I'm 20 and I accidently walked in on my 15 year old sister putting in a tampon and I saw EVERYTHING :( I wanted to vomit. But that aside, what should I do?? She hasn't come out of her room since and I'm not sure if I should appologize or just pretend it didn't happen? Do you think shes pissed or just embarassed? Thanks!

Hey, hope this helps. I'm 15 and if I were your sister I would deathly embarrassed. So be mature and let her know it's totally ok! That would help a lot! And that is a pretty touchy subject, so I would apologize or comfort her in some way. I mean, your her brother come on, family is family right? ;)

Oh my god..that poor girl is probably mortified. I wouldn't leave my room either! You're in a sticky situation because if you bring it up to apologize, it could make the situation even worse.
I'll give you an example story...Let's say you're in your room playing with yourself (I figure this would be the closest situation in terms of awkwardness haha) and your mom walks in. Do you want her to come up to you later and say, "Well sweety, I saw what you were doing earlier and I just want to assure you that it's perfectly natural, and I'm sorry - I'll knock next time." OR would you want her to just drop it and never mention that horrible situation ever again for the rest of your natural life?
Go with the second option...

Shes embarrassed. Pretend you didn't see everything, that will make her feel a bit better. Even though she knows you did, having you pretend you didn't will help. She is probably hoping you will just pretend it never happened at all. Follow her lead, if she doesn't talk about it, you shouldn't either. If she does bring it up, be honest - tell her you are sorry and it was an accident. And, tell her you won't tell anyone you saw it. That's the best you can do.

shes embarrassed.
just knock on her door, and tell her that its not a big deal, and to forget about it that it didn't bother you...
even though it did, it will ease her feelings

She is probably just embarrassed. Maybe if you apologize it would help.
