Some people have large oil glands on the labia majora, causing pimples. This is completely normal. The hair follicle gets clogged, if you pop it there will usually be an ingrown hair.
Yeah it could always be something else, like an sti, but if you're saying it's not most likely it's something like an ingrown hair in which the follicle has become infected. It usually happens when you shave or wax or something, but you have many growth cycles so new hairs grow in at any time. If it's a large puss-filled white head looking bump i'd say that's what it is. I get ingrown hairs a lot if I am not gentle with my sensitive skin.
Mystery bumps come and go as they please. Its normal
