Birth control pill question??!

Birth control pill question??

i took my pill yesterday at 6:00am, and threw up at about 11:30 am... should it be already in my system or does it count as a 'missed pill'... oh and if i took my pill about 3 hours late this morning is it alright to have unprotected sex or no?

i guess i should say i've been on it for 5 months now and i take my pill perfectly.

Happened to me once and my doctor told me if my pill was in my stomach at least 1 hour I was OK. The pill is taken daily but contains for 2 days of hormones...it is a good habit to take it daily at the same time but it's no big deal if you forget to take it in the morning and then take it a few hours later.
