Are Yeast Infection 1 dose treatments effective?

I was talking with some friends about those OTC one dose and 3 day treatments. We are all under the impression they dont work and 7 day treatment is most effective. But i would like to know has anyone even tried the once does treatment like Vagistat 1 or Monistate 3day..If so what was your experience and did it work? I do know for sure the Dyflacan pill is a 1 dose treatment that works almost instantly and my old docter would prescribe it everytime she prescibed me antibiotics.

Actually i dont have a yeast infection My friends and I where having a debate on rather or not those one dose treatments works compared to the 7 day treatment. So if u have taken it and it works thats petty much all i we wanted to i told them i would find out but posting it on here.

I always use 1 day. and it works great!
