Causes for a bloated feeling stomach?!

Question:

Causes for a bloated feeling stomach?

I am 48 years old and my stomach always feels so bloated. It doesnt come from eating too much because some days I can just go through the morning with just a small bowl of cereal but I feel like Ive been to the all you can eat buffet. It doesnt matter what I do or eat- I always feel full. Im also going through menopause if that has anything to do with it. I am average weight 5' 7" and 155 pounds. Also, I would like to add that my bowel movements are regular so I dont think it's anything to do with that. I would appreciate your suggestions of what this could be comming from or what I can do to help it.

Answers:

You are most likely allergic to a food or ingredient in food which you eat often. The most common food allergens that people eat alot of are wheat (found in bread, pasta, etc), gluten, sugar, and lactose (the sugar in milk). What you can do is cut out the food that you suspect is causing problems from your diet for a weeka nd see if it helped... if not try the other foods. I highly recommend reading The Diet Cure by Julia Ross. It will explain bloating and it's causes and the simple changes you need to get rid of it =)
I found myself allergic to wheat--- I always get bloated when I eat it =/ So now I try to avoid it and my tummy is flat =)
