ladies, how did you know when you were ready to "go all the way?" was it your age, how long you were with your man, or both? im just curious

im 17 and hes 19. we've been together for 13 months and still havent gone all the way

I don't know if you are ever completely ready... Sometimes you have to just let nature take its course so to say. Sex is a purely natural thing and when the right time comes and you are ready you will know. I think now I was a bit too young when I did finally do it with my husband for the first time, We were only dating then and I look back now and wish we had waited longer. But we planned it out and it felt right for both of us at the time. We have now been together for going on 21 years. My advice to you is don't plan on having sex unless it is going to be meaningful to you both. If it is just a temporary boyfriend or on again off again relationship it will only end up hurting you in the end. The best way to do it is wait until you get married but if you cant than just be as truthful to each other about it as you can. Make sure it is going to be meaningful and loving. Sex can bring two people closer than they have ever been before, It can also destroy a relationship if one or the other has false intentions. One more thing if you are thinking about doing it please practice safe sex. Too many young lives have been destroyed by STD's and unwanted pregnancies
