Epilator Experience Please?!

Question:

Epilator Experience Please?

OK can anyone out there be honest with me and tell me straight what to expect here??? After putting off for years I eventually went ahead and bought an epilator to try and sort out my legs once and for all! Waxing doesn't work too well and shaving left me stubbly after only 2 days. I braved the excrutiating pain first time, and did it again last night for second time. The results are ok, less hair and less pain etc but I am still finding that my legs feel nowhere near as smooth as when I shave them? Is this the best that I can hope for, or will it improve in time? I hoped that I would achieve silky smooth legs, for longer periods, and although I am happy with the appearance for longer, I am very disappointed with the overall stubbly feel. Can anyone give me some optimism after suffering all this pain, or let me know their experiences? Much appreciated in advance!!

Thanks for your honesty girls.. do you think would it be worth using a silky mit or similar in between epilating, or would that just stimulate the hairs to grow thick again like after shaving??

Answers:

Make sure you exfoliate your legs before and after you epilate to prevent in-growing hairs.
I've been epilating for about 2 years now and I'm not gonna lie - it still does hurt but I love the results! My legs are smooth and even when the hair grows back after about a month it's fine hair not stubbly like when you've shaved. It's great when you're on holiday cos you don't need to worry about hairy legs!
