No sex...not having period?!

No sex...not having period?

so i havent had sex in a little over a year now...and all the sudden my period had dissappeared...what the hell? took a prego test just to see if somehow i got pregnant without sex..it was negative..but ok..i'm 19 i have been a "regular" for a few years now....how the hell did it just dissappear?

2 months skipped. no i dont go to college (have 2 kids tho! lol). i'm not extremely skinny, i'm average for my height. no weight loss or gain lately. and no new stressful situations (besides worrying why i dont have this stupid thing!)

Several factors cause us gals to suddenly become irregular...my biggest: STRESS!! ok..and not taking care of myself like I should (not enough sleep, nutrition, getting way too run down).

If you're an athlete, working out a lot, that can have an effect also. You're 19...college age? The stress of college is enough to throw hormones off kilter...or in the workforce full time...big life changes cause stress...whether we realize it or not.

If you are concerned and haven't had a period for 3-4 months, go in and have an exam...if anything, peace of mind.

Knowing how I was when I was your age...with everything going on that was in my life...it's stressful...and if I were in your position, I would want to try to decrease that stress and have peace of mind that I wasn't so 'off' after all with my hormones :)
