What week into your period are you fertile?
I am on week one of my BC pills but was taking antibiotics and didn't use a back up. I wonder what week of your period you are fertile?
Answers:
I've always heard that most women ovulate about 11-14 days after the first day of their period. Some women can tell when they're ovulating because they'll have an increase in clear or whitish mucousy discharge around that time.
If you're really not wanting to become pregnant right now, don't use this estimation alone. Everybody's different, and technically you might become pregnant at any time. Best to use backup forms of birth control this month--condoms, foams, etc.
