Embarassing question! (periods) Girls only please! Help?

OK so Im gonna turn 16 this september and I have not yet gotten my period! I am completley flat and I want my boobs! This has been on my mind since the 8th grade which is when I first noticed a change in my chest. Im going to be a juinor and Im the only one with out breasts! Ive heard that your breasts really start to grow when you get your period. All of my friends have breasts and now younger friends and cousins have breasts and I still don't!
Its not because Im afraid of what people will think, its that I want breasts!

This august will be 3 years since my breasts changed. They have been the same for 3 years! Can anyone give me some advice?

I just want to know some time spans between the first delevoping of breasts and first periods. I know this is very personal, but im desperate!

I'm not sure how to answer your question - i apologize. I can tell you that having brests isnt all its cracked up to be.

I HATE having them. Mine are a size DD ...my back is always killing me and a good supportive bra costs at least 50 dollars (And its not like u can live with just ONE bra...and bras dont last forever...so about once a year i spend about 200 dollars on bras alone!!) ... not only that but..when you have big ones - guys dont seem to see YOU, all they see is your boobs. People make degrating comments and treat me like I'm just an object for looking at. Its really terrible.

Back to your question.. your doctor can usually tell you when you should be getting your period... i know sometimes it could be uncomfortable talking to your doctor about having breasts and such, but he/she could really help you out there - more than anybody on yahoo answers can.

I'm 20 years old. I got my period when i was 9. My best friend (also 20) did not get hers until she was almost 18.
