is it true that if you get a tattoo on your back or stomach that you have to have a natural birth because you cant get the medicine because the ink from the tattoo wil interefere with your baby
Answers:
If you have it on your lower back, you can't have pain-meds while giving birth, but it shouldn't interfere at all with any sort of birth (c-section, natural, etc.) The meds go through the spine at the lower back, but many doctors will not give them to those who have tattoos in that area because the ink will be knocked in to the spine area inside.
If your tattoo is one of the later designs, now made to allow said needle at later times (the artists leave a gap in the area where the needle goes in, especially,) then you should be fine.
Many girls as of late have gone in to labor, only to find out they can't get the meds. D: Ouch.
