[embarassing] I have a fear of tampons....?!

Question:

[embarassing] I have a fear of tampons....?

I've tried multiple times to put in a tampon, but everytime I try, I get it in, then get scared that it won't come out... and faint. I'm afraid that I'll never get off of pads! And, I'll never be able to swim with my period :[ It's not the putting in part that scares me, the part that scares me is taking it out. It's that one part where it feels like a suction cup [sorry about the details], and I feel like its stuck. And all this is with EXTRA SLENDER.
please help!
PS - I am really petite, and I think that I'm just too small to use a tampon...?

Answers:

Well if you can insert it properly and its comfortable there is nothing to worry about.
The only reason your tampon won't come out is if it hasn't absorbed enough, in that case leave it in a little longer. There is nothing else that could prevent it from coming out. It can't get "lost" in there because there is nowhere else for it to go! The only way out is your vagina. Just take the string and gently pull it out when its filled.
You're not too small if you can get it in, which you can. Your only problem is that you worry so don't worry because there is nothing to worry about! Remember, you have to *relax* when putting it in and taking it out. As long as you do that there won't be any problems.
Good luck :)
