I asked this question the other day but i worded it wrong so i deleted it.So then my boyfreind and I (im 17 and hes 21) have been together for a year and a half about.And we are both virgins and have never done anything sexual with each other except for phone sex once or twice.Anyway we dont have sex becase we both know all the risks that goes with it and yet sometime with in the next couple months we might have sex.Im on the pill to regulate my period and have been for 2 years but we want to use condoms as well.We probably wont have sex anytime soon but if we do i want to make sure we are safe and protected.So if any one has advice and tips for condom use and first time sex it would be greatly appreciated.

I applaud your responsibility and maturity! It's so nice to see a teenager who's smart about sex.
Definitely use a condom. And definitely some lubricant as well, but you can save the "adult toys" and lotions for when you're more experienced.
I'd also suggest going down to Planned Parenthood and seeing what sort of information and advice they can offer on STDs. However, I'd suggest not using their free samples - their condoms are not as high quality as the ones you buy in the store, even if they are the same brand (check a recent Consumer Reports study).
