Question:

Is it safer to use a condom while on birth control??

I just wanted to know because if that time comes when I wan't to have sex with somone I'm dating. Is that a good idea to do both??

Answers:

The chance of pregnancy is even less if using a condom while in birth control. Some couple's use condoms and birth control for a number of reasons.
- The extra protection it provides
- Protection against disease
- Not having to clean up

If you and your partner are comfortable with each others past, then you may wish to only use birth control and not condoms as some people do, so that he has maximum sensitivity. It is something that only you two can decide because none of us know your past.
Birth control alone is reliable enough for a lot of people, but some prefer the extra safety.
