Is there a way for a girl to go swimming while on her period?
im going to the beach in a few weeks with my family, and im usually the first to get in the water. but im on my period. its kinda new for me and im out of state so i cant ask anyone in the fam. but can i use a tampon or anything?
Answers:
yes, using a tampon is just fine. A tampon is pretty much the only other best thing to use while you are on your period.
Because it is your first time, i would suggest you to start of
with the smallest tampon possible. There may be a little bit of pain but don't worry it's normal. Remember to change it on a normal basics. never leave it in for more than 8 hours, but since you will prob most likely be using it in water, i would change it more often. Like every 4-5 hours. By the way I noticed that you said you will be going to the beach in a few weeks. Well in that case you may not even be on your period. The longest a normal period lasts is a week. Hopefully you will get lucky and you wont be on it :]
