Which birth control pill works best with least side effects?

I got married last year and began taking birth control pills. One day I woke up with EXTREME pain in my pelvic area while I was taking the pill. The pains continued and i switched to another brand of pills. about 4 or 5 months later I decided to quit the pill. i no long use protection but now I'm getting pains AGAIN! These pain make me curl up into a ball and hurts to move when I get them. i saw a gyn. and she put me on diet and gave me Yazmin... are these pills any good? and are there other woman that have experienced these types of pains? (they are NOT craps)

See a different gyn, who will actually explain to you what the pains are, and help you to do something about them, rather than just putting you on a freekin diet and shoving some more pills in your face, it doesnt sound like you have a very good gyno.

I have experienced severe pain down there (bad enough that i couldnt get up or move either x_x) especially right after sex, it turns out that my uterus was retroverted and when i was having sex, his penis was to put it bluntly, bashing the crap out of my uterus. ow. Is it anything like that?
