I started taking the pill on June 11.Last week I had bad cramps i thoyght i was getting my period ,but no it was some very light spotting.so I wake up this morning bloody as hell a bad headache and cramps so it's safe to assume I got my period,but why was I spotting and going through that stuff last week?Oh and the pill I take is Tri Sprintec (generic version of Ortho Tri Cyclen

Breakthough bleeding, as it is called, is very common with BC pills. Each week, the dosage decreases and it may have been so low that your body was preparing for your period. At any rate, don't worry about it.
