Can I take Vicodin for menstrual cramps?!

Can I take Vicodin for menstrual cramps?

(And if so, what OTC drugs CAN'T i take with it?)

Thanks for the answers! I have the WORST cramps the first day.. then i'm fine.. so I already had vicodin for something else but i haven't taken it. I'm sort of afraid too. I have only taken codeine before. But thanks for the tips!! You all helped very much. Thanks.

Although Vicodin is a strong painkiller, it doesn't really work that well on cramps! You are much better off taking Alleve or Motrin. If you are taking Vicodin anyway, you really shouldn't combine it with an OTC painkiller. Vicodin contains Acetominiphen (same as Tylenol) and you are not supposed to mix it with asprin, Alleve, Motrin, etc. Feel better....
