How do i convince my girl to go back on the pill?
my girlfriend of 5 years has been off the pill for about 2 years now and i cant stand it!
she was in an accident, whitch landed her in the hospital for a few weeks, when there ,she stoped taking the pill. ever since she refuses to get back on the pill for A. it will cost her money and B. she fears that she will gain weight.
she has been diagonsed with having an underactive tyroid glan, for whitch she takeing a precription.
the big problem is, we both hate condoms, sometimes i think she hates them more then me. so she likes to play around for a little without one, and as we all know chances of somethng comming out are pretty high, we both agree we dont want kids any time soon, but she is also pro life. id die if she got pregnant. she has money but dosent want another expence, i am willing to help pay or just flat out pay for it.
so will the medication she takes for her tyroid effect birth control?
any advice to get her back on it?

as far as the weight issue- maybe you could ask her to discuss it with her doctor. there are pills out there with low estrogen levels which may mean she won't gain much weight if at all. i didn't gain any when i went on the pill.
as for the money, try planned parenthood or discuss splitting the cost of the prescription. the small amount you'll pay for the pill is cheaper than having a baby.
