Learning about puberty?
at school we were learning about puberty and i haven't started my period yet but was wondering when ever you do can you go straight to tampons or do you have to start out with pads?
Answers:
You can start with tampons, but some girls have a hard time learning how to use them. You can practice now. Buy some KY jelly, (buy a generic brand in any drug store.) Put the jelly on the tip of a SLIM tampon with a plastic curved top, and put some jelly inside you. Once you learn how to do it, take it out immediately. When it's in correctly, you can't feel it at all. Then when you get it, you'll be well prepared. Enjoy this time without it!! It's a pain! :) -L
