Okay. 2 weeks ago i got on birthcontrol and can now have sex with my husband, but my husband still wants to us condoms TOO so that it's EXTRA protective!? this isn't very fair. I hate condoms! how do i get through to him that he doesn't need to use them too? I got on birthcontrol for a reason. please help!

well, it really depends on when you started your BC. if you started the pack on the 1st day of your period, you'll have coverage with the very first pack. if you were off by even 1 day, you're not covered, but it's only been 2 weeks, so your definately not covered yet. if you're doing this to prevent pregnancy, don't get so anxious, and wait until you're positive you're covered
