Will I be ok?

yesterday I threw-up shortly after taking my birth control pill. I'm still feelin sick today and I just took todays pill. I'm afraid I may throw this one up too. Will I still be protected even though I threw it up?

i know that my body can not handle the extra hormones. I've tried several forms of birth control including the shot and a few different types of pills. I'm schedualed to get an iud in a month but I need to be protected until then. The next few weeks i'm fine because my fiance and I decided not to have sex again until after our wedding on the 21st but the pill needs to be in your system a while before it works right? I just started to take it two weeks ago.

You are going to be okay. Are you new to taking birth control? Sometimes this is a side effect until you get used to it. You aren't going to be protected if you're throwing it up. You should take to your doctor about another form of b/c if this one is giving you nausua. She could recommended the patch or even the shot. Make sure to take extra precautions in the meantime though.
