Uterus Spasams?!

Question:

Uterus Spasams?

Please can someone advise me. I am waking up in the middle of the night with a sort of involuntary orgasam by tensing my uterus muscles while sleeping. After the orgasam I get very painful pains in my uterus and back and kidneys, with the need to wee or poo but can't nothing will come out. The pain is really intense but goes after an hour or two but Im achy and tender in the morning.
I never feel pain during sex and my periods are usually fine.
Has anyone any ideas as everytime I go the doctors they just say I have a water infection without checking me out properly but I get them a lot and am starting to worry it could be something serious and no-one is picking up on it.
if anyone can link me to any websites which might explain my problems I would be muchly appreciated.

Answers:

It sounds as though you are having a rough time.

This sounds a rather complex problem that needs to be sorted out properly by your doctor. How long has it been going on?

You say that they haven't checked you out properly. Have they sent an urine sample off to the laboratory to check that it is a water infection? Have they done any swabs to make sure that you haven't got an infection in the uterus?

There are some Complementary and Alternative approaches that may be helpful for you.

Try Chamomile tea last thing at night, as this can help calm the spasms. Drink plenty of cranberry water during the day (use cranberry powder if you can, not cranberry juice which has too much sugar), as this can help to clear the infection in your bladder (assuming there is an infection).

Finally, there are some great herbal medicines, such as Cramp bark, that can help with these spasms - but ideally you should go and see an experienced herbalist who will be able to advise you properly, rather than trying things over the counter.

I am sure that this can be sorted out, and that there is probably nothing sinister behind it all, and if you need any more help let me know.
