This is my first period, and it has lasted 7 days so far. Is this normal?
Answers:
When I had my very first period, it lasted 13 days. I was soooo sick. My mom thought I was pregnant or something. I eventually went to the doctor, turns out I had a cyst and etc. After everything was taken care of, my cycle runs 4 days MAX now.
My aunts told me - prior to menstruation - that the number of days I start with will be the SAME number I continue to have month after month. NOT TRUE!
There is nothing "abnormal" about a 7 day cycle. If you feel there's a problem or if it gets worse, then contact your primary care physician. Good Luck & welcome to "Womanhood" !
