Long period..iron?!

Long period..iron?

My period has always been 5 days ...i recently started taking iron pills everyday for the past 2 weeks and i was wondering if that could be the reason my period hasn't stopped yet its the 8th day today.. i heard iron helps in shortening but never longer so i dont know thanks

i don't think taking those iron pills would cause you to have a longer period.. is your period heavy? if so, then you need to make an appointment to see your gynocologist, and if it's really light, wait and see if it does it again on your next period, and then go see your gynocologist..
