I'm 12 and I'm probably going to get my period this summer. How do you know when your period will be coming? Because I'm getting really scared about not knowing what to do with my period. And aslo are using pads and tampons comfortable?? HELP!!
Answers:
You never know when your period will come for the first time so it's usually a surprise. Obviously you will know because you will have blood in your undies or be bleeding. Period normally come once a month for some women but all are different. My friend gets hers about 1 every 6 months. At first it might be irregular because your body will be getting used to it so don't worry. Period also come with unwanted thing like: bloating, cramps (the worst), headaches, nausea. For these you can use Midol which can get rid of bloating and cramps. When your period first comes, just tell your closest female relative like your mom or older sister and be like I need pads, tampons, etc. You can try using both and see which you like better or which is more comofortable.
