There is nothing wrong with having sex while on your period. It's a little messy and you might stain the sheets but all good sex is messy, right? There's bodily fluids coming out of him and you. Lying on a dark towel can make it easier to clean up, or you could have sex in the shower.
You can still get pregnant and catch STDs though, so make sure you are protected.
