Can I change the time I take my BC pill?!

Question:

Can I change the time I take my BC pill?

I am on the second day of placebo pills on the first month of being on BC. I take them at 8pm every day since I began on the first day of my period. I have found out that this is a very inconvenient time for me. Can I change the time I take the pill to the morning starting with the very first "active" BC pill for the second month? Will the pill be as effective as it should be?

Thanks!

Answers:

A nurse is allowed one hour before and after the time that a medication is supposed to be given to give that medication.

I'm going to say that if you're taking your pill at 6 a.m. and you'd rather take it at night . . . take it an hour later each day. . . and you'll be fine.
