Is it okay to take ibuprofen or tylenol while on birth control?
i am currently taking ortho tri cyclen lo, i got my period and i want to take something for the cramps. yeah i thought birth control was supposed to lessen cramps but they dont so... is it okay to take something?

i suffer from migraines, arthritis and fibromyalgia and take birth control and MANY pain killers and muscle relaxers. it is perfectly fine to take motrin or tylenol. only thing i have been told is that steriods can INCREASE the birthcontrol and that antibiotics LESSEN it. if in doubt you can ask your pharmacist or dr/nurse to be sure
