Why is my endometriosis getting worse? Please help, I'm getting desperate????!

Question:

Why is my endometriosis getting worse? Please help, I'm getting desperate????

My symptoms have gotten much worse lately. I've never had any surgeries or treatments for my endo, and I've had it for a while. It hurts so bad today, can anyone tell me what can make it get worse? I already know it gets worse during certain times of the month, but it's never been this extreme in the years I've had it. Please help, I'm getting desperate!

Since I'm a temp and have poor coverage, I'd really like to solve this AWAY from a doc's office if I can. I'm still paying off bills from a hospital visit related to this. So please no more all caps answers that don't give real advice. If I had money, I'd already be at a doctors office and not at work using answers to find other solutions. If you have experience with this your advice is appreciated.

It seems that the scar tissue maybe getting more severe and causing you more pain. When I was still having periods my favorite thing was a heating pad for my stomach. That always helped lessen the pain, though I would stay in bed with it all day. They have some really good ones for under $20 at the drug stores that stay warm for longer periods of time. The ones you stick in the microwave. Just make sure you do not get it to hot. Also if you can talk to your doctor about getting on Birth Control continiously, so that you stop having periods. I had the surgery and went on Lupron for three years. After three years and losing 1 and 1/2 inches in height my doctor decided to take me off Lupron. After having a couple of periods the pain came back full foce, so my doctor put me on continious birth control to stop me from having periods. I do still experince some discomfort, but it is nothing compared to the pain I had before. See if your doctor would continue doing this, since birth control are pretty inexpensive, you can always mention your money problems, since doctors often have free samples that they maybe able to give you. My doctor did this when a new company bought mine and the new insurance did not want to pay for some of the meds I was on. She did this for me while she worked with the insurance company to prove that the meds were needed. I hope this helps you and I wish you the best of luck.
