Recovery after Abdominalplasty?
I'm a cashier and was wondering how long I need to stay outta work before I can go back? Also I have a draining tube and the doctor set up an appointment for a follow-up 2weeks after my surgery but people were telling me that the tube is supposed to come out after a week, should I call the doctor and ask him what's up?

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the recovery can take anywhere from days to weeks to months depending on the extent of the surgery and your physical condition prior to the surgery.
I would be inclined to listen to what the doctor says in regard to the drain. I'm quite sure that he has probably done enough of these procedures so that he knows what's best for you.
