OK, please help me?!

Question:

OK, please help me?

This is a bit of a long story, sorry:

2 1/2 months ago I stated on a new Pill. My period was a day and a half late and very short. My fiancé and I always used condoms and on the second month of the new pill my period was a day and a half late again. A week before that period began I had about 3 days of spotting and went to the clinic to find out why. She said that it's quite normal for my periods to be shorter and for some spotting to occur on this new pill. So I dismissed it, since I had accidently swapped 2 days' pills a the weekend before the spotting started and she said not to worry.
OK, now here is my problem:
I'm now about 2 weeks away from my 3rd period and everything's fine (as far as I know). BUT: my fiancé just told me that 5 days after my first period started (it only lasted about 2 days) a condom broke. Now why would the *idiot* tell me this only now? The second problem is that I forgot my pill this past Friday night and only drank it at around 11 on Saturday.

It was the only pill I forgot and drank it as soon as I remembered. On Sunday night things got a bit, well, hot, and I forgot about the forgotten pill. I then drank a Morning After pill on Monday morning, hoping everything would be fine.
Only I've never had to deal with this before and this makes me kind of nervous, since I only found out yesterday about the broken condom a month and 1/2 ago. Now I want to take an HPT just to be sure, because what if I'm one of those people who don't miss their periods when they're pregnant? But I don't know what effect the Morning After pill will have on the HPT and things are really a bit confusing now...

Sorry about the long story!

PS: last week I was on a 5-day course of cortisone too...

PPS: I don't have any breast tenderness or morning sickness, I just had a few headaches when I was on the cortisone.
