I've been taking YAZ birth control for about a month now.. and I take it every day.. i've never missed a pill.. But i dont take it at the same time everyday sometimes in the early morning & sometimes later in the afternoon.. does it matter if i take it the same time everyday? Now im worried it wont stop pregnancy

As long as you take it in a 24 hour period you should be ok, they tell you its best to take it at the same time everday mainly so that you get into a routine and dont forget to take it,because if you slip out of that 24 hour window then you are at more of a risk and if you miss a pill you are at high risk for becoming pregnant. When you take it at different times then you are more likely to forget or not remember until its very late and by then you are coming up on the next day. I have become pregnant from missing a pill and doubling up before, so its best to try to take it around the same everyday for example maybe carrying them with you and eating one before lunch everyday or as soon as you wake up in the morning have a glass of water by your bed with your pills so they are the first thing you see and do if you want the best results.
