Have i got vaginismus???

i have been with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years and i am now 19. we have never been able to have sexual intercourse EVER as it is way too painful he cannot even insert a finger, as i worry myself and end up shouting at him. He has been so great and never forced me to do anything i dont want to do. does anyone know of any help i can get because it is frustrating me so much :(

I would say to go get a GYN exam to find out the cause for your pain. The stress you have also tends to make the pelvic floor and vaginal muscles tense up which doesn't help matters.

Only a gynecologist can properly diagnose these symptoms. If your doctor says that you do have vaginismus, then he/she can prescribe/recommend the treatment course.

I understand your frustrations, but medical conditions that haven't been made by a physician (or self diagnosing with the internet) can make you feel more scared and frustrated. See your doctor or make a GYN appointment. If you're scared of what they may think...do not worry...the GYN docs are there to help you...and they've probably seen it all before.

Sounds like a wonderful guy you have there...just the two of you hang in there until you find the cause BY A DOCTOR and can get treatment.
