Should I switch from Nuvaring to Yaz?

I have been using Nuvaring for almost 2 years now, and I have loved it, but lately my periods have been heavier and my cramps have been more severe. Not to mention, I've been moodier and highly anxious before I start my period. I am generally happy with the Nuvaring, especially since I don't have to take a pill everyday, but could I benefit by switching to Yaz?

I have used Yaz before and I didn't like it. The side effects were too severe, for whatever reason I started having HORRIBLE visions which didn't start until I started Yaz. I'm now on Loestra 24 and I absolutely love it. I'm taking it to help regulate my periods and it's doing its job perfectly. Talk to your GYN about your options to find out what's best for YOU though.
