Can a gyno exam cause a late period?!


Question:

Can a gyno exam cause a late period?

I went to the gyno last Thursday, and they told me I probably have a cyst on my ovary. My period was supposed to start on Saturday, but hasn't yet. Could it be late because of the exam or maybe the cyst?

anything is possible..take a prego test to rule that out & call your obgyn
