I'm 10 and am wondering what happens before your period?

Hi everyone Im 10 years old and I didn't have my period yet but I think I'm almost having one. Can you tell me what happens before you have one?

Well, first of all, you start growing pubic hair and your sweat glands starts to kick in. You will also grow hair on your legs and underarms.
And the most unique one of all, you'll start to feel like a real woman.
I'm 13 so I have to use all these good hygiene products that I've never used before!
