Could i be pregnant?!

Question:

Could i be pregnant?

My husband is in the military and deployed about a month ago. Needless to say, we had lots of sex before he left and although we always eventually used a condom, there was penetration before we put it on (each time). I was ovulating at the time and did get my period a few weeks later although it was definately normal. It was much shorter (3 days versus the normal 5) and ended abruptly. Meanwhile, a month later, I've been exhausted, mildly nauseous all the time, have incredible dizzy spells, and seem to share many early pregnancy warning signs. My confusion stems from my last period; although it was weird and short, it was a normal flow. According to what I know, any implantation bleeding or periods during pregnancy are really light. I've been contemplating getting a HPT but my logical side is telling me that since my period came, there's no need. Anyone have any advice?

Answers:

It is possible to still get your period the first month of your pregnancy. But i think the safe thing to do is to just get a HPT and find your answer quick. The sooner you find out the better.
