Answers:

Hi again! Now that it is clear to me that its a gynecologist, maybe I can help a little more.

When you go, the doctor might first have you go into his office (or into the room) and ask you questions (one of them will be weather or not you are sexually active - this is the part when you could ask him if he legally has to tell your mom what you say to him).

They'll do things that regular doctors do (height, weight..u might have to pee in a cup - this helps them incase you have any kind of yeast or bacteria infection. - you dont need to be sexually active to get those..) and then he or the nurse will assist you to the room that the exam will be in and you will be asked to take your clothes off (all of them). They'll give you one of those crappy paper things to put around yourself.

They'll take this thing, like a probe sourt of, and stick it in you. they put stuff on it so that it slides in. It does not hurt and they know what size to use (if they know you're not a virgin they'll use a bigger size... etc...) this sounds TERRIBLE ..but its not so bad. its uncomfortable but it doesnt hurt. They do this so that they can see inside. He'll look around, probably feel inside (i know it sounds super weird and gross) just to make sure everything feels like its developing properly. They might give you a pap. test which is just like a tiney thing that they put inside you - it has some rough bristles on the end (almost like a very thin tooth brush)...it collects some tissue sample and they send it in for tests (mine actually came back abnormal once, saying that my cells werent normal...these tests are super important becuase they help detect cervical cancer and such.)..
I wont lie, this part is VERY uncomfortable. I tense up a lot so it usually hurts me a TINEY bit (not worse than getting a shot..i'm just a wimp).. its over within 2 seconds. The best thing to do is to just take a deep breath and relax.
and then they might do a quick breast exam and show you how to give yourself your own breast exams so that you can see if you have breast cancer.

like i said in my last answer, yes he'll know the hymen is broken. The nurse should really be there incase he tries to do something 'funny'. Once again i'm not sure if he can tell your mom or not. Hopefully the answer will be no. Just ask him when you get there.

It shouldnt take more than an hour. It might take a little longer becuase your a first timer and you have to fill out paper work.

good luck! and thanks for choosing me for the best answer last time!!
