Why did i have a period twice in one month?
i had a period in june that lasted five days. about a week later i started my period again, and ive been on it for more than a week.

When I was young I found exactly the same thing happened to me quite a lot. Sometimes the second bleed would last only a day. Sometimes I'd then wait 8 weeks for my next period.
I had various blood tests and a scan on my ovaries like they give to pregnant women to see the baby. They found nothing but put it down to me being quite skinny.
Don't worry too much but when anything "different" happens to your body it is definitely worth talking to your doctor, even if just so that they have everything on record.
