Reducing blood flow?!

Question:

Reducing blood flow?

does birthcontrol help reduce your flow while on your period? i can't handle this anymore, it's way too much. i'm looking for ways to reduce it because i can't go out and function like a person. just waking up in the morning i have to run to the bathroom immediately. any help?

Answers:

Yes, hormonal birth control (pills, iud, etc.) can help make your periods lighter. I would talk to your ob/gyn about your goals so that they can reccomend some birth control that will help with your situtation.
