Female condoms, REALLY reusable ??!
Question:
Female condoms, REALLY reusable ??
Wondering bc we used them once, and some sources say they are reusable (after checking for holes, up to 7 times), and others say get rid of them like male condoms after one time!
What is true ? Both sources are medical journals!!

PS- A baby wouldn't be a bad thing, we love each other, just are trying to ideally prevent right now. Female condoms feel better than male ones to us btw, but we'd go back to them if needed.

Well, they are made of PVC(vinyl) so possibly could be reusable. I'd get a new one instead,as there could be really small holes in it. Plus, if you are not thorough washing and rinsing,bacteria could be left on it.
However,using one after washing is better than not using any.
You also could boost the effectiveness by using spermicidal jelly,foam , or that dissolving film-condoms used with spermicide(not the spermicidally lubricated kind) are as effective as properly taken birth control pills(98%)
