Okay so my Friend (Shes Younger) invited me to go to her house, and the thing i hope she didnt say she said it, Can you bring your Bathing suit to go swimming? I HAVE MY PERIOD.
im 13 and NEVER used a Tampon. I cant say i wanna go tanning because its Sorta 5:45 pm. I REALLY NEED HELP ON USING A TAMPON. I really wanna go swimming! PLEASE HELP!
I really need encouragement! Tell me your first time using a Tamopon?!?! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Im gonna be wearing a BLACK bikini with like short bottoms so its its Like a Bra and SHorts. Can i Wear a Pad in the Water? What happened if i dont use a Tampon?!

Answers:
No the water would use up all the absorbancy in the pad. you choices are:
1.) don't go swimming
2.) Use a tampon
3.) right before you get in the pool take off the pad and then just jump in. When your in the water you don't bleed. But makesure to hurry!Also you must hurry when you get out
and go into the house and you run to the bathroom and change!
If you want to wear a tampon here some tips and I will explain how:
Tampons come in: mini, regular, & super
(If i were you I'd go with regular)
How to use one:
1.)Wash your hands
2.)unwrap the tampon
3.)hold the tampon by the base (were the string is)
4.)squat and open the flabs of skin around the vagina
5.)RELAX take a deep breath in and as you slowly breath out focus on relaxing the muscles around the vagina. While your doing this insert the the tampon into your vagina in an angle pointing toward your back.
6. Slide the tampon ALL the way in.
7. Throw away the wrapper.
If it feels uncomfortable start over with a new one.
If your have an applicator then put the applicator follow steps 1-5 and then put it in with the applicator other than your fingers.
Sorry I haven't started my period so I've never used a Tampon. I just read abunch on this subject and I'm bound to start in the next 2 months!
I think you'll do great! Remember that a lot of girls don't succeed in puting in a tampon on the first try and practise makes perfect!
