Breast Needle Biopsy - What to expect.?
I am 11 weeks pregnant and found a lump in my breast. At my pre-natal this morning, the OB did an exam and U/S on the lump. He could tell it was solid and not fluid filled and gave me a referral to a surgeon for a needle biopsy. Just wondering what to expect. Procedure/pain.

I had a needle biopsy in my neck. Trust me the anticipation is worse than the proceedure.
Thin needle, minor pain and then it is done. You are more likely to feel pain from the doctor stabilizing the mass with his fingers then from the needle.
Good Luck..............Mine was OK, had the mass removed on June 1st.
