I am thinking to start taking Marvelon but I am scared that they will make me put on weight. What are the chances of this? I'm very slim, I have been all my life, it's almost impossible for me to put on weight and I don't want a pill to change this.

There is no way to tell what side affect you may have by taking any pill. The best thing you can do is go to your doctor and explain to them what you are looking for in taking the pill. The doctor will then suggest a brand for you to try. If you don't like it you can just get your doctor to take you off it and suggest something else. It's a case of trial and error really until you find what best suits you. I wouldn't worry too much about weight gain as the previous answer stated it much less likely now.
